From Canon full frame EOS 5D mark ii to Fujifilm APS-C. is it a downgrade? Yes if you look it that way, but for me it's an upgrade.

The main reason I'm switching to Fuji is about the weight, carrying a big DSLR with a big lenses is a pain for me.

Yes it does looks "Pro" to use such a big camera on an event, but that's it. So I made a choice to switch to Fuji.


Why not Sony? Before the switching I made a lot of research about Sony vs Fuji. Why Fuji? Damn I like the classic look and shape of it. Plus Fuji has it's own film simulation presets pre-installed into the camera, a few adjustment here and there i can get a "good looking" jpeg straight out of the camera.

Plus, Fuji only has APS-C and Medium Format. Even pro's use their Fuji APS-C on a professional works. So the feeling of "apsc for amature" is not bugging me head...haha


I'm a jpeg shooter, even in my Canon days I shoot only jpeg. I like to do all the adjustment in-camera and not relying on post-editing afterwards.

That's why I'm ended with Fuji.

Flash Bounce Card (inspired by Demb) Upon searching online for whats best for flash bouncing, i found many tips & tricks and one of them is the Demb Bounce Card . But the price is so expensive (USD convert to MYR), well i think why not i just build it? Its just a plain white bounce card attach to a hinge and elastic band..hehe :) I buy all this online,  1. A4 White PVC sheet (cut to 4.5x5inch). 2. Small black hinge. 3. Black elastic band. 4. Acrylic sheet. 5. Glue (i use shoe glue LoL) Above is the finish "base", i added a small square thin plastic for support the bounce card and i bend the acrylic like Demb. The finish product attach to Godox TT350 flash head. I just use a double side tape to stick the bounce card to the "base". I find it easier to replace if somehow the card get damage 😅 Here i apply it to Godox TT685 flash head, more suitable for this one because of its standard size than a small mi...

Masih cari kamera fuji low shutter? Fujifilm tak pernah ada shutter actuation app untuk check jumlah shutter. Gambar pertama, List hijau merah dibawah dari web apolyte menunjukkan senarai kamera yg tak boleh dan boleh check shutter count melalui website mereka. Upload je file jpeg, semudah itu lalu app dia tunjuk shutter yg ada dalam exif gambar. Gambar kedua, kamera yg telah digunakan shoot wedding dan sebagainya. Namun setelah dibiarkan tanpa bateri sehingga kamera auto reset telah memadamkan shutter track dalam memori kamera. Tadaaa, fresh shutter count 📷 mint usage, lady owner.
